Responsible for implementing all components of the Biwaase’aa programs. These programs provide youth ages 7-13 with activities that promote culture, physical activity, healthy eating & nutrition, positive personal development and literacy & numeracy support.

Under the direct supervision of the Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) Supervisor, the Registered Early Childhood Educator is responsible for Aboriginal children (18 months to 6 years) attending Thunder Bay Aboriginal Head Start (TBAHS).

After School Assistant
Under the authority of the Program Supervisor of Biwaase’aa, the After-School Assistant (ASA) is responsible for working with the Youth Outreach Workers in the implementation of the After-School components of Biwaase’aa. The After-School program provides youth ages seven to eighteen (7-13) with activities that promote culture, physical activity, healthy eating and nutrition, positive personal development and literacy support.
